You get the gift card revenue (less any payment processing fees and Gift Up's fees) immediately. We do not hold on to any funds.
We ask you to connect your PayPal or Stripe payment account to Gift Up! So when a customer buys a gift card from you, the balance of the revenue is immediately deposited into your connected payment account.
If you use Stripe, we collect our fee automatically during payment, just as Stripe does. You get paid the balance of the revenue directly into your Stripe account immediately.
If you use PayPal, you receive 100% of the revenue immediately. We then charge your nominated card for our 3.49% fee at the end of your monthly billing cycle.
Since Gift Up! does not handle the payment process, we cannot hold any funds or see any details of a customer's credit card/payment details.
Getting your money into your bank account:
If you are using PayPal to accept payments from your customers, then your funds can be removed automatically overnight into your bank account, using PayPal's "sweep" system or you can remove the funds manually at any time.
If you are using Stripe to accept payments from your customers, then your funds will be automatically sent to your bank account on a daily, weekly or monthly basis depending on how frequently you would like to get paid. This is available in your account payout settings.
