Absolutely. It's not enabled by default (only email delivery is), but if you enable this option your customers will be able to choose how their gift card gets delivered...

NOTE: We do not print or post the orders for you. You need to either print off the digital gift card via the dashboard, or have already pre-printed some blank gift cards/certificates that you can fill in the customer's details and the generated gift card code we provide.

Here's what the checkout looks like if you enable postal gift cards (as well as digital/email gift cards)

How we notify you

When a gift card gets sold by post, we'll send you an email that contains, among other things, the name and address of the recipient and a (provisional) gift card code to write on your printed gift card/certificate.

See "What if I have physical gift cards with codes already generated?" below if you have pre-generated codes on your physical cards...

Here's an example of the email notification:

How to turn on gift cards by post

You can enable postal fulfillment inside your dashboard at Settings > Fulfillment

Once you've done this you can add shipping options for your customers to choose from. You can specify which country (or countries) your shipping option serves, and at what cost.

What if I have physical gift cards with codes already generated?

When the gift cards got sold via the checkout, we generated a provisional code for the gift card, but you can update that code before you post it out.

Crucially, the customer has no idea of the code on their gift card until you post it to them and they receive it. Whereas with our email delivery option (which does not apply here as your customer selected postal delivery!) we allow the customer to download the gift card at point of sale, but for postal delivery gift cards, we do not as you may change the code on the gift card before posting it out.

Also, if you have any 3rd party integrations in your Gift Up! account (i.e. Shopify, Eventbrite etc...) we only notify them of a gift card sale after you've posted the gift card.
