Stacking promotions so they get repeated

With Gift Up! you can have many promotions running simultaneously and each one has it's own qualifying criteria. If a customer is buying a gift card(s) that match more than one of your promotions qualifying criteria, then all the qualifying promotions' benefits will get applied.

Example

i.e. Let's say you have 2 promotions running:

1) Automatically give $10 off when a customer spends $50
2) Automatically give $15 off when a customer spends $100

If a customer buys a gift card worth $50, they will get $10 off. If a customer buys a gift card worth $100, they will get $25 off because both promotions get applied and added together.

Avoiding triggering multiple promotions

Of course, you can avoid this by changing the trigger criteria so they do not both get applied. For example, you could set different promo codes for each promotion and make the customer choose one to enter based on their purchase.

i.e. Tell your customer's this:

1) Enter code "DISCOUNT50" to get $10 off when you spend $50
2) Enter code "DISCOUNT100" to get $15 off when you spend $100

That way, the customer enters a code that triggers only 1 promotion. If they spend $100, they will enter "DISCOUNT100" as a code and get only $15 off.
